Cecil Gowing Newsletter 25th September 2021

Dear Parents and Carers

Year One had an exciting surprise on Friday when they were joined in their virtual Greatness assembly by Samuel Thomas who is the Norfolk artist they have been learning about this week! They enjoyed the opportunity to ask him questions as he joined by video link from his studio.  Mrs Stubbs had organised it to inspire their learning and it does help that he is her son!  His advice to the children is to find something you really love to do and work hard to learn as much as you can to become the best you can be.

Our wonderful PTA would like to remind you all that you are invited to their AGM on Wednesday 29th September and there will be cake!  Please come and join us to discuss ideas for our coming year and little brothers and sisters are welcome too!  We will meet in the Rainbow room (mobile) from 2pm.

Now the weather is getting colder and wetter, the children need to bring a coat to school everyday. A pair of wellies, which can be left at school, is also recommended so the children can continue to have fun on the grass and trim trail.

A reminder to please park carefully on drop off and pick ups, allowing for space on the paths for pushchairs to pass.  Thank you

We also have 2 spaces for Parent Governor.  If you are interested or would like to know more, please contact the school office.

Birthdays this week

Happy birthday to Rosie from Reception and Sienna-Rachel and Amelia from Year 1.
