Welcome to Acorn Class – Our New Nursery at Cecil Gowing
We are delighted to announce the opening of our brand new nursery, Acorn Class, here at Cecil Gowing! We are now able to offer places for children aged 2–4 years.
Over the summer, our nursery has undergone a complete refurbishment, creating a bright, welcoming and inspiring environment for our youngest learners. With brand new furniture, carefully chosen resources, and an amazing outdoor play area, Acorn Class is a place where children can thrive.
At Cecil Gowing, we follow a continuous provision approach. This means that children have ongoing access to a wide range of activities and resources across all areas of learning, enabling them to explore, play and discover at their own pace. Our experienced and enthusiastic staff carefully plan and support these opportunities to encourage independence, curiosity and a love of learning.
Joining Acorn Class also offers children a fantastic transition into school life. By becoming familiar with our staff, routines and environment, children feel confident and settled when the time comes to move into Reception.
